[ARCHIVED] Suspect Pleads Guilty in May 21 Chase Bank Robbery

After receiving multiple solid tips, Eugene Police investigators arrested Levi Christian McKinnon, age 29, on charges of Robbery in the Second Degree for the May 21 robbery of Chase Bank. McKinnon pled guilty to Robbery in the Second Degree in this case and was sentenced to 70 months in prison.


Case: 

At 6:53 p.m. on May 21, a male suspect robbed the Chase Bank at 60 Division Avenue. No weapon was displayed. A news release was sent out with surveillance photos and a description of the suspect.

On May 22, investigators located McKinnon in the area of 29th and Willamette, during a traffic stop. McKinnon was taken into custody without incident and charged with Robbery in the Second Degree. McKinnon is not a suspect in any of the other recent bank robberies.
