[ARCHIVED] Police seeking information in vehicle-moped hit and run case

Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation’s Team is seeking more information in a hit and run case involving a light-colored pick-up and a moped that happened this morning, April 11, at 2:54 a.m., at W. 7th and Madison (near Taco Bell). The moped’s rider, a 20-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.


The involved pickup was last seen going eastbound on W 7th Avenue.


If anyone was in the area around the time of the crash, or if a member of the public or anyone at an autobody shop notices fresh damage to a light-colored pick-up, they are asked to call Officer Michael Klews, 541.968.1926.
