[ARCHIVED] Armed Street Robbery at E. 16th and Hilyard

At 2:39 a.m. on March 3, a 21-year-old woman was walking on Hilyard near E. 16th Avenue when a man approached her from behind. She reported later that he grabbed her and threatened her with a handgun, while robbing her. The suspect then fled westbound on 16th Avenue on foot. 

 

Police responded to the call and also deployed a K9 unit. The search was unsuccessful. Police are seeking any tips in this case. 

 

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, and approximately 6’ tall. There was only limited description of the clothing as light colored jeans and a blue hoodie. The suspect may have a nose piercing.
