[ARCHIVED] Police Investigating Circumstances of Man's Gunshot Wound Injuries

At 1:59 this morning, December 2, Eugene Police patrol officers responded to W. 13th and Bailey Hill after multiple 911 calls about shots fired and screams heard in the area. Bystanders reported a wounded person being loaded into a vehicle, which then left the area and dropped a man with non life threatening gunshot wounds at a local hospital. Officers located and stopped the sedan and located two handguns.

Police also located the victim, age 36, who was not cooperative with police. The shooting does not appear to pose an ongoing threat to the general public.
