[ARCHIVED] Man Arrested for DUII After Crash into Far Horizon Montessori School

At 12:36 a.m. on December 4, Central Lane 911 got a call regarding a vehicle crash at 18th and Hilyard however officers knew there wasn’t a crash at that intersection as they were near that location. They began an area check and located the crash at 2490 Hilyard (Far Horizons Montessori School).

The investigation revealed Timothy Stocker, age 22, was traveling the wrong way on Hilyard at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway just south of 24th Ave.

Stocker’s vehicle went through three chain-link fences before striking the north side of the school causing significant structural damage. Stocker’s vehicle sustained extensive damage and he was unconscious when officers arrived and had to be extricated by Eugene Springfield Fire. Stocker sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Stocker was charged with DUII, Reckless Driving, and two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.
