On October 28, 2017, at 11:53 pm, Eugene Police and Eugene/Springfield Fire responded to a none responsive adult female who was lying in the alley way between Olive and Willamette Streets at E 7th Ave near the Parkade structure. Witness in the area called 911 to report the female was not breathing, not responsive, and was bleeding. Officer arrived to find the victim deceased and she has been identified as Nicole Lorraine Murr, age 34, of Eugene. The cause of her death is still under investigation. Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the call and heard or witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact the Eugene Police Department non-emergency line at 541-682-5111.
The Medical Examiner is still investigating to determine manner and cause of death. No additional information is expected to be available for release today.
