[ARCHIVED] Reports of 37 Broken Vehicle Windows

Police have received at least 37 reports of vehicles with windows shattered in the southwest Eugene, most likely due to shots from a BB gun. The reports came in between September 1 through September 5. Some of the victims also reported other neighbors had similarly damaged vehicles. The cases appear to be happening at night, between 11 p.m. and midnight.

A possibly involved vehicle is described as a black 1990s Audi sedan. Anyone with suspect information is encouraged to call the non-emergency line at: (541) 682-5111.
