[ARCHIVED] Police Respond to Armed Robbery, Shots Fired by Suspect

Police responded to an armed robbery at 7-Eleven, Broadway and Patterson, at 1:50 a.m., today, March 6. A shot had been fired in the store and the male suspect fled with cash on foot.

Officers were quickly in the area and located the suspect near a parking lot. They pursued the suspect and the suspect fired additional rounds. Forensic analysis shows the suspect fired at least one round in the direction of the pursuing officer.

Police were unable to locate the suspect and are continuing to investigate.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or 50s, 5'6" tall, with a thin build and gaunt appearance. His face has pock marks and he was last seen wearing a dark rain jacket and dark pants.
