EUGENE — Nov. 22, 2016 — Eugene Airport (EUG) is gearing up for the busy Thanksgiving holiday travel week. About 19,000 (arriving and departing) passengers will be traveling through the airport between Tuesday and Sunday of this holiday week.
“We’ve seen an increase in passenger traffic all year at Eugene Airport, and we are projecting another busy Thanksgiving travel period,” said Airport Director Tim Doll, A.A.E. “We are committed to providing travelers an enjoyable experience as they travel for the holiday.”
Wednesday, November 23rd is expected to be the busiest travel day with nearly 2,103 departing passengers. November 27th will also be a peak travel day. On an average day there are 1,252 passengers departing from the Eugene Airport.
