City of Eugene services and facilities set their own schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed December 26 and January 2 for the holidays.
All community centers will be closed December 26 and January 2; Echo Hollow Pool and Fitness Center will be open regular hours; Sheldon Pool and Fitness Center reopens on January 2 after a lobby remodel. The Hult Center Ticket Office will be closed December 25 and 26 and January 1, but will operate during regular business hours on December 24 and December 31. The ticket office will be open on January 2 from 12:30 – 3 p.m.
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on December 26 and January 2. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 days a year, although the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on December 26 and January 2. The West University Station will also be closed on Friday, December 23 and again on Friday, December 30.
No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.
All City parking garages and surface lots will be free December 25 - 26 and January 1 - 2 . City-managed on-street meters will be in effect on December 26 and January 2. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.
The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holiday weekend. The airport administrative offices will be closed Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544.
All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, December 27 and Tuesday, January 3 unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Martin Luther King Day, January 16.
