[ARCHIVED] Two missing hunters found safe

Missing men Prado and Ramirez

UPDATE: The two missing hunters have been located. Their truck got stuck. They freed it and are now headed home.

General Hunting safety:

• Make sure to go with a partner
• Take a map
• Leave a copy of your travel and hunting plan with family or a friend who will check to ensure you made it home. Include the date and time you will return, as well as the location and direction of your hunt.


PREVIOUS INFORMATION
Eugene Police are seeking the public's help to find two Eugene men who went on a hunting trip in Douglas County and have not returned. They left yesterday, Tuesday, November 15, at 5:30 a.m. and were due back at 2 or 3 p.m. yesterday.

Their families have been unable to get ahold of them. The pair were planning to hunt between Elkton and Loon Lake.

The missing men are:
Duvalier Prado, age 20
Joel Ramirez, age 20

Their photos are attached and there is also a photo of Ramirez’s truck, blue Chevy GMC, with license plate 828 GRF.

If anyone knows of her location they are asked to call 541.682.5111.
