[ARCHIVED] Light Up Downtown 2016

FREE!

Friday, November 18, 5:15-6:30 pm
East Park Blocks and Kesey Square

Celebrate the holiday season by illuminating the Park Blocks and Kesey Square.

Light Up Downtown kicks off the holiday season in our awesome Downtown Eugene! The City of Eugene is joining forces again with the Downtown Eugene Merchants to bring festivity and light to our Downtown. Last year marked the first time in over a decade that a holiday tree lighting ceremony was held downtown and we are continuing the tradition with even more lights than before.

Featuring:

  • Eugene Concert Choir
  • Eugene Ballet Company
  • Concrete Loveseat trio
  • flex Studios
  • UO's Mind the Gap
  • UO Duck
  • Mayor Piercy
Treats & Fun:
There will be warm apple cider from Whole Foods, popcorn, kids crafts and more.

Warm Clothing Drive: We will also be coming together and showing our appreciation and gratitude for others and paying it forward with a warm clothing drive for those that may be in need during this dark season. St. Vincent de Paul will be accepting new clothes for the clothing drive. Bring warm clothing to donate!

Light Up Downtown is produced by City of Eugene Cultural Services with the support of ePark, Downtown Eugene Inc., Mix FM, Pacific Benefit Planners and Sherry Schaefers State Farm Insurance.
