On October 19 at 4:34 p.m., a man, later identified as Roger George Albi, age 58, of Eugene, entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 99 E. Broadway. He threatened the use of a knife and demanded cash. Eugene Police responded quickly to look for Albi, who had fled the bank with cash.
An officer spotted the suspect and he was compliant with her commands. Other officers arrived and Albi was taken into custody without incident and the cash recovered. Albi was charged with Robbery in the First Degree.
