[ARCHIVED] Family Fun at the Downtown Library

Every Sunday, the Downtown Eugene Public Library hosts a new "Family Fun" activity at 1:00 p.m. Children and family are invited to join in educational events on topics ranging from science and nature, to visual and performing arts, to games and multicultural experiences. Admission is free.

This month, the fun starts on October 2: make recycled paper with educators from BRING. On October 9, enjoy the spirited tunes of Springfield High’s Mariachi del Sol band.

On October 16, jump into high-energy Bhangra and Bollywood dancing with Sat Pavan Kaur Khalsa. On October 23, learn and play board games old and new with Chris Wuebbles.

And on October 30, learn about and make crafts for fall festivals including Diwali, Halloween, and Day of the Dead.

For more information, contact Eugene Public Library at 541-682-8316 or www.eugene-or.gov/library.
