[ARCHIVED] New Events at the Branches

The Bethel and Sheldon Branches of Eugene Public Library will offer more events for all ages starting in September, thanks to funding provided by the five year levy approved by City of Eugene voters. All supplies are provided and admission is free.

For children and their grown-ups, the branches will offer a monthly Family Night featuring a new fun activity each time. Family Nights will be held at Sheldon Branch on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., and at the Bethel Branch on the fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Teens are invited to both branches on the First Friday of each month at 4:00 p.m. for hands-on workshops arts, crafts, “maker” projects, and more.

Both branches will host a weekly drop-in Coloring Party for Adults on Mondays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

In addition, levy funds will support new events at the Downtown Library this fall: Pajama Storytime will welcome children and their grown-ups on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., and the teen Ani-Manga Club will get together on the third Friday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
