[ARCHIVED] Police Asking Unknown Victim of Assault to Contact Investigator

Police are hoping to identify a victim in an assault in which a man has been arrested. On August 8 at 6:03p.m., an officer investigated a dispute where the suspect, Jeffri Madison West, age 21, is reported to have assaulted his mother, age 52 and who is in a wheelchair mother, another woman, age 40, who also uses a wheelchair, before picking up a third, unknown female and slamming her to the ground while standing in the middle of E. 12th Avenue in front of White Bird, 341 E. 12th Avenue. The third victim left on foot before police arrived. EPD is hoping she will come forward and will contact Officer Shawn Trotter, who is investigating this, at (541) 968-8396.

West was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree Abuse Prevention Act, Assault in the Fourth Degree, and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. Other charges could be pending the other victim’s report.
