[ARCHIVED] Police Seeking Driver in Bike-Vehicle Crash at Fuller Avenue/Echo Hollow

Police are asking the driver the involved driver from a vehicle-bicycle crash that happened on August 3 at 1:17 p.m. at Fuller Avenue and Echo Hollow Road, to contact police so that an information exchange can be completed. The number to call is 541.682.5111, referencing case 1612844.

The bicycle was riding against traffic southbound on Echo Hollow Road near Fuller Avenue, when it collided with a silver, four-door sedan. The female driver got out and helped the bicyclist, a 59-year-old Eugene man, and put a pillow under his head until medics arrived. However, the driver left before police arrived and there was no exchange of information.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
