On August 2, 2016, the following persons were arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail for the Murder of Scott Brian Zebro, 01/02/1952.
Arrested:
Jedediah Brooks Donley, age 35, of Eugene
Amanda Josette, McKenna, age 32, of Eugene
Due to the nature of this investigation no further information will be provided at this time. If anyone has additional information relevant to this case, there are requested to contact Detective Mel Thompson.
Previously Released on August 2:
At 5:38 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, Eugene Police received a call regarding a deceased man at a home in the 5000 block of Austin Way. After responding, patrol called the EPD Violent Crimes Unit to investigate as the circumstances are suspicious. The man has not yet been identified and therefor next of kin have not been notified. That is part of the reason for not releasing additional information. The manner and cause of death have yet to be determined. With the information we have at this time, we do not believe others in the public are at risk.
We will provide more information as we are able.
The Violent Crimes Unit and Forensic Evidence Unit, as well as the Lane County Medical Examiner have been on scene.
