The Waste Prevention and Green Building Program is expanding Love Food Not Waste exposure to residential households by attending community events as the "Veggie Mob".
What is this, you ask? Veggie Mob educates event attendees about the importance of food waste prevention and diversion while dressed up as different fruits, vegetables, and types of food! We will provide the costumes and a brief volunteer training, as well as some snacks and lots of fun. If dressing up as food isn’t for you, we are also looking for volunteers to help take pictures and gather sign-ups for our quarterly newsletter.
