[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed Monday, July 4th for Independence Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices, community centers & pools, the Hult Center Ticket Office and all City libraries, including the book returns, will be closed Monday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7. Amazon Pool will be open for Rec Swim 2-5 p.m. and Lap Swim 12-5 p.m.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on July 4th. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year, although the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on the holiday. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption. Parking is free on July 4 for City-managed on-street meters, garages and surface lots, except for event parking.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual on the holiday. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544. Airport Administration offices will be closed.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, July 5. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene Labor Day, September 5.
