Eugene Police and the Lane County Medical Examiner are seeking information that will help identify a deceased woman and are hoping someone in the public will recognize her and call in to Detective Matt Herbert at 541.682.5147 /or the Lane County Medical Examiner’s Office at 541-682-4363. She is a white female in her mid-twenties, approximately 5'5" tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She has 6"-8" reddish-brown hair, light colored eyes and was wearing a red, black and white plaid flannel shirt, tan pants and tan shoes when she was found on Saturday, February 20, 2016 near the bike path on the West bank of the Willamette River just south of Merry Lane in Eugene . Her most obvious identifying marks are a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist of a shamrock/clover with heart-shaped leaves and birthmark on her lower left abdomen. An examination has been conducted, but her cause of death is, as of yet, undetermined.
The surveillance camera images were gathered from the Safeway Store at 1500 Coburg Road and show her making a purchase there Tuesday, February 16 at about 4:30 p.m.
