[ARCHIVED] Come by the donation “castle” at EPD’s front counter to donate to the Princess for a Day event

Do any of your family or friends have a bridesmaid dress they wouldn't mind donating… or… do you need a reason to clean out your closet and make room for this year's outfits? This is an excellent opportunity!

Foster care can be difficult, and A Family for Every Child is having a "princess party" in April, for girls in Foster care. They need donated dresses, tiaras, boas, fairy wings, wands, shoes, and jewelry to help make it a special day and to make each girl feel like a princess.

Eugene Police is one of the agencies that has arranged for a collection of items ahead of time to support this event and to help empower, encourage and enable girls ages 2-18 who are particularly vulnerable in society. Through March 24 at noon, EPD will be collecting items in a ‘castle’ box in its lobby at 300 Country Club Road.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
