[ARCHIVED] Challenge Course Facilitators

Ropes Course

We are looking for people interested in working as a Challenge Course Facilitator.

The Spencer Butte Challenge Course is a 20+ year Experiential Program at the River House Outdoor Center. Events on the ground and high in the douglas fir trees are designed to create shared experiences and learning opportunities. Programs are designed to be fun and provide an increase in self-confidence, group cooperation, practice in self-efficacy and development of leadership skills. You can be a part of creating these opportunities for a variety of community groups!

As a Facilitator you must be skilled in the technical knowledge to lead safe and engaging programs on the ground and at heights up to 55 feet, AND be equally skilled to facilitate learning and group discussions.

There will be a training in April for facilitators that will focus on these technical and soft skills to this type of work. Applicants are expected to attend all training dates.

For more information and for dates you may go to the job posting or contact Robert Brack, Challenge Course Manager at 541-682-6324.
