[ARCHIVED] Suspect Arrested for Robbery Conspiracy and Multiple Burglaries

January 18, at approximately 9:45 a.m., EPD Special Investigations, with the assistance of Property Crimes detectives and SWAT, arrested Kamren Charles Willemsen, age 26, of Eugene, for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree, Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, four counts of Burglary in the First Degree, and Theft in the First Degree. Willemsen was arrested at the Spencer’s Butte trail. He was transported to the Lane County Jail on the charges.

The arrest was the result of a 2-week investigation, where police received information that Willemsen, along with a conspirator, planned to rob a couple in the South Eugene area. Upon further investigation, it was found that Willemsen was responsible for multiple burglaries that occurred at occupied dwellings. Police are continuing to investigate similar cases, and are asking the public for help. If you have experienced a burglary where the suspect entered your home while it was occupied and did not report the information to police, please contact Agent Greg Harvey at 541.682.5174.
