[ARCHIVED] Family Fun at the Downtown Library

Every Sunday, the Downtown Eugene Public Library hosts a new "Family Fun" activity at 2:30 p.m. Children and family are invited to join in educational events on topics ranging from science and nature, to visual and performing arts, to games and multicultural experiences. Admission is free.

On January 3, join Jennie Kiffmeyer to celebrate the Japanese New Year with “Stories from Japan.” On January 10, “Sing Around the World” learn and play singing games with Corie Brown.

On January 17, explore “Robotics” with Science on Demand. Get hands-on with user-friendly squishy circuits, sticky circuits, Vibrobots, and more.

At “Take Flight” on January 24, make flying creations with The Science Factory and try them out in a real wind tunnel.

On January 31, the focus is “Legos.” Explore, build, and play with visiting staff from City of Eugene’s Petersen Barn Community Center.
