Previously Released Information:
At 12:34 p.m., Eugene Police received a call regarding a driver who has been hit by another motorist in a Chevy pick-up truck at Danebo and Royal. The pick-up truck is reported to have not stopped after the crash. The driver who was hit followed the pick-up for a time, but lost visual contact due to the truck’s speed.

A very short time later, the pick-up rear-ended a Honda sedan with two male passengers. The two males were both transported to a local hospital with critical and/or life-threatening injuries. The female driver of the pick-up and her male passenger were both transported to a local hospital. Their condition is not currently available.

EPD Major Collision Investigation team continued to investigate the crash. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash on the part of the pick-up’s driver.

Danebo north and south is closed to traffic near the railroad tracks (Pacific/Roosevelt) and is not expected to reopen for an hour.
