[ARCHIVED] Police Looking for Information Regarding Child Sex Abuse Suspect

On October 19, Special Agents from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension assisted EPD violent crimes detectives with the arrest of William Isaac Parker III, age 47, of Westbrook Minnesota, on a warrant from Eugene for Child Sex Abuse. Parker was lodged at the Lyon County Jail, and detectives from EPD responded to Minnesota to conduct interviews and gather evidence pertaining to the case.

Prior to the arrest, police received information that Parker made online threats and phone calls to the 16-year-old female victim and demanded that she send him explicit photos of herself.

Parker will be extradited back to Lane County from Lyon County and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking that if anyone has further information about Parker, to contact Detective Jennifer Curry at 541-682-5166.
