Eugene Police Party Patrol Statistics for October 9, 2015

To increase safety and prevent and respond proactively to potential alcohol and behavior problems related to partying, Eugene Police worked in the West and South University area this Friday night October 9, 2015

The West University area was extremely busy with many noise complaints. Foot traffic was heavy throughout the night as well.

Below is the list of charges. Some individuals received more than one charge/citation.

Citations and Charges
• Open Container 5
• Minor in Possession 20
• Prohibited Noise 21 Warnings / 2 CLC’s
• False Information to Police 1
• DUII 1

Eugene Police Party Patrol Statistics for October 10 – 11, 2015

The West University area was moderately busy Saturday night to Sunday morning with many noise complaints. Foot traffic was heavy throughout the night as well.

Below is the list of charges. Some individuals received more than one charge/citation.

• Open Container - 4
• Minor in Possession - 6
• Prohibited Noise warnings - 12
• False Information to Police - 0
• DUII - 0

The teams patrolled in the West and South University area, while regular calls for service were maintained throughout the city. The night’s activities were designed to prevent and respond proactively to potential alcohol and party-related problems that in the past have been associated with partying, which historically increase during the fall.
