[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices, as well as community centers and the Hult Center Ticket Office, will be closed Monday, September 7 for the Labor Day holiday. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.

All locations of Eugene Public Library, including outside book returns, will be closed on Monday, September 7.

Amazon pool is open for lap swim from noon-5 p.m. (along with recreation swim from 2-5 p.m.); Sheldon and Echo Hollow Pools and Fitness Centers will be closed on the holiday.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on September 7. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year, although the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on September 7. No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption. All City parking garages will be free on September 7 (on-street meters will still be in effect), all city garages, City-managed on-street meters, and surface lots, except for event parking will be free on September 7.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holiday weekend. The airport administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 7. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, September 8 unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Veteran's Day - November 11.
