[ARCHIVED] Open Captioning Provided for Three OFAM Events

Open captioning in use at a Bill Cosby performace

People with hearing loss will be able to follow the dialog as they experience the joy of musical theater at three Oregon of American Music events in the upcoming season. Each production will have open-captioning, in which the dialogue is projected on a screen above the stage, similar to subtitles at an opera. Open-captioning will be provided this season at: Oregon Festival of American Music: The King and I, Bi-Mart presents Broadway In Eugene: West Side Story, and Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story. Open-captioning is sponsored by Eugene Hearing & Speech Center and KVAL-TV. For information and tickets: 541-682-5000 or TTY: 1-800-735-2900, or visit: HultCenter.org.
