[ARCHIVED] MovingAhead Seeks Input on Transportation Corridor

The City of Eugene and Lane Transit District thanks everyone who participated in the MovingAhead workshops in May or who provided input online. More than 200 community members attended MovingAhead workshops, and many others submitted comments or spoke with project staff at a community event or meeting.

At the workshops, participants tested different combinations of bike lanes, sidewalks, lanes for autos, and lanes for buses. Using the input gathered at the workshops, the project team has developed 14 concepts for how transit, sidewalk, and bike facilities could be
improved in each corridor.

More opportunities to provide input are available for people to comment on the concepts, including an online survey atMovingAhead.org and an open house at the Eugene Library on Sept. 14, from 4 - 6 pm. Submit comments now to help shape the future of key corridors: Coburg Road, River Road, Highway 99, Amazon Parkway to Lane Community College, Valley River Center and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
