Because the Fourth falls on a Saturday this year, all City of Eugene administrative offices, as well as some community centers, the Jacobs Gallery, and all City libraries, including the book returns, will be closed Friday, July 3 for the Independence Day holiday. the Hult Center Ticket Office will be open Friday, July 3, but closed Saturday, July 4. Although normally closed Mondays, the Hult ticket office will be open Monday, July 6 from noon to 5 p.m. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.
Echo Hollow and Sheldon Pools and Fitness Centers will be open July 3 but closed July 4. Amazon Pool will be open July 3 (noon – 5 p.m.) and July 4, with reduced hours on the Fourth: lap swim (Noon-5 p.m.), and recreational swim (2-5 p.m.).
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on July 3 and July 4. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year, although the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed on July 3. The West University Station will be closed on July 6, also. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption. All City parking garages will be free on July 3 (on-street meters will still be in effect), all city garages, City-managed on-street meters, and surface lots, except for event parking will be free on July 4.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Monday, July 6 unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Labor Day, with offices closed September 7.
