[ARCHIVED] Alton Baker Dispute Results in Arrests

At 9:08 a.m. police were called to a dispute in a remote, wooded-area of Alton Baker park, along the river. A male and female who were camping in the area, had been in a verbal dispute. When officers arrived to check on the pair, a noise like gunshots were heard in the immediate area.

The nature of the call, along with the gunshot noise made an elevated response necessary. Some paths nearby were closed to the public, and more officers were called to respond . The female and male were both located and officers found while investigating that the gunshot sounds were illegal fireworks. The park was reopened around 10:30 a.m. Both the male and female were arrested.

Scott Allen Jones, age 28, no address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Violation of Park Rules.
Tasha Lynnette Fourzon, age 43, no address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduction, Violation of Park Rules
