Yesterday around 4:53, p.m., police arrested Jeffrey Michael Williams, age 66, of Eugene for Sex Abuse in the Third Degree. Williams was arrested in relation to an incident that occurred in the lobby of a local restaurant on February 14, in which a teenager subsequently received unwanted sexual contact from the suspect.
Further investigation by Eugene Police Violent Crimes Detectives indicates the encounter may not be an isolated incident and the potential for other sex abuse victims exists.
