[ARCHIVED] Man apprehended after trying to get into Target Store

At 8:01 a.m., today, February 9, a male, who said he was armed with a gun, tried to get into the Target store, 4575 W. 11th Avenue, while employees were arriving for work. He fled on a bicycle. Police were called to the store and began looking for him. Richard Byran Hancock, age 54 (no address), was quickly apprehended at 8:09 a.m. He was taken to the Lane County Jail, charges are pending. No gun was located.
