Three Juveniles Arrested for North Eugene High School Arson

At 1:07 p.m. today, a fire was discovered in a North Eugene High School boys bathroom, near the cafeteria. The area around the fire was evacuated as Eugene-Springfield Fire responded and got the fire under control.

Eugene Police were called to the scene to investigate the fire, which was determined to be the result of arson. Two 15-year-old males and a 14-year-old male were arrested around 4:25 p.m., and taken to the Lane County Juvenile Justice Center on the following charges: Arson in the First Degree, Disorderly Conduct, and Reckless Endangering.

There was some damage to the bathroom. No one was physically injured during the incident.
