[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Public's Help to Locate Stolen Painting

Stolen Painting.jpg

Between May and August of 2014, a person purchased a painting from a Eugene second-hand store. It had been stolen in a burglary during that time-frame from a residence in West Eugene. The case’s detective is seeking the public’s help to locate the painting, as it has great sentimental value to the victim of the burglary. The painting is one of a boy and his features have been blurred because he is a juvenile. The backdrop is of a Vietnam countryside and according to the victim, it is a quilt-style painting. The painting is 3-feet tall by 4-feet wide.

The detective is not looking for the suspect, as he has already been arrested. This is only an attempt to try to return the painting to the owner. The store and the purchaser would be considered victims also.
