[ARCHIVED] Upcoming Council Meetings Focus on City Hall

The City Council is scheduled to continue their conversation about City Hall at their work sessions on September 22 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and September 24 beginning at noon. Both are in Harris Hall (125 E. 8th Avenue) and are also broadcast on cable channel 21 and through webcast at www.eugene-or.gov/webcast.

At Monday’s City Hall Workshop the City Hall Design Team will provide council with the technical information that led to the development of the final concept design and site framework for the City Hall project. Members of the multi-disciplinary team of sustainable design professionals led by Eugene-based Rowell Brokaw Architects with assistance from The Miller Hull Partnership of Seattle and McKenzie Commercial Contractors from Eugene conducted an assessment of the current building and site. The Wednesday Council work session will fulfill the council’s request for an opportunity to clarify council direction related to City Hall.
