All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
All City of Eugene community centers, libraries and book returns, and the Hult Center ticket office will be closed on the holiday. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7. Amazon Pool will operate on a holiday schedule Sept. 1 with lap swims noon-2 p.m. and a recreation swim from 2-5 p.m.; Sheldon and Echo Hollow Pools and Fitness Centers will be closed on the holiday.
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on the 1st. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year, although the West University Public Safety Station and the Downtown Substation will both be closed on the holiday. Around-the-clock health and safety services such as regional wastewater treatment will continue without interruption. Parking is free for both meters and city-owned garages on September 1, except for event parking.

All city offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, September 2. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Veteran's Day - November 11.
