[ARCHIVED] Police Looking for Information

5th Street 1.jpg

Around 2:38 a.m. this morning, the 5th Street Public Market was burglarized. The suspect entered the northwest door of the market, stole keys from the janitor’s room, and used the keys to enter the main courtyard and the café area. While in the café, the suspect entered three of the four food carts and stole cash.

At this time, the suspect came into view on East 5th Avenue wearing a black pack with reflective straps (possibly a Dakine), blue zip-up jacket (form fitting), a dark-colored, fitted baseball hat, dark pants, and white and dark-colored shoes. Originally he had a flat screen TV between his backpack and back with a large chain around his neck.
