On the second Thursday of each month Adaptive Rec will offer a virtual session that covers a different topic related to disability or disability support for families and caregivers.
An invisible disability is a physical, mental or neurological condition that is not visible from the outside, yet can limit or challenge a person’s movements, senses, activities of daily living, social interactions and overall quality of life. Unfortunately, the very fact that these symptoms are invisible can lead to misunderstandings, false perceptions and judgments. Through open conversation we can increase awareness, understanding, kindness and support. In partnership with the Invisible Disabilities Association.
