For adults in the Eugene area: get together at Vero Espresso (14th and Pearl) to chat about "Severance" by Ling Ma.  

This social satire is sharp and hilarious, yet also heartfelt and moving, as it follows a group of New Yorkers escaping an apocalyptic work-to-death epidemic that’s shut down the city (it was published in 2018!).  

The group conversation starts at 11:00; if you would like to purchase food or drinks, please arrive at 10:30.
