Alton Baker Park Work Party
Wednesday, July 15, 2020
Explore all that Alton Baker has to offer and play an active role in its stewardship.
Alton Baker Park is Eugene’s largest developed park and includes approximately 413 acres. With a wide variety of recreational uses and park features, there are countless opportunities for environmental stewardship.
Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. - noon. Meet near the restrooms by the duck pond. The project will vary each month depending on the season and park needs. Projects may include native plant care in the Sebring Rock Garden, tree mulching at the Hays Memorial Tree Garden, invasive weed removal along the Canoe Canal, trail maintenance along Pre’s trail, and much more. To find out what this month’s project will be look at our Facebook page.
