Wednesday, February 22, 2017

A show by and for kids: "Be Yourself: A Story of President Barack Obama."

In honor of Black History Month, Preschool Storytime hosts an audience-participation play for children performed by students of The Drinking Gourd School. This year’s show is “Be Yourself: A Story of President Barack Obama.” Performances will begin at 10:15 and 11:00.

This show is the Drinking Gourd School’s 25th annual performance for Black History Month at Eugene Public Library. The Drinking Gourd School is a small K-2 elementary school in North Eugene that teaches individual academics, global awareness, cooperative learning, and anti-bias attitudes.
