Open to regular City of Eugene employees and their dependents (18 ) enrolled in one of the City's health plans, City retirees who purchase health insurance through one of the City's health plans, and temporary employees (18 ). Come on down and check it out!

Equipment / Resources
  • Nine cardiovascular exercise machines and two resistance machines
  • Wheelchair accessible exercise equipment
  • Wall-mounted exercise tubing station, flexibility equipment and free weights
  • ADA accessible restrooms, two showers, lockers
  • Private lounge for nursing mothers
  • Additional 625 sq ft room for exercise classes, wellness education/CPR classes, wellness screenings, flu shot clinics and other City meetings

LUNCHTIME CLASSES
Mon/Wed, 12:10 - 12:50 pm
YOGA OF SYNTHESIS: Relax and revitalize, release tension and regenerate the physical/emotional/energy bodies. This is a moderate-flow, hatha yoga class, with an emphasis on breath and body awareness. Beginning/Intermediate
Instructor: Paul Simon

Tues/Thurs, 12:10 - 12:30 pm
Metabolic Strength Conditioning: This class will strengthen every muscle in your body and will tone up the areas that need it and slim down the areas that need it. It's a one-class fits all. Besides toning and firming you will also improve your cardiovascular fitness.
Instructor: Steve Auferoth 

Fridays only, 12:15 - 12:45 pm
Chair Yoga: Chair yoga combines simple breathing and relaxation techniques, with easily adaptable stretches and exercises.  The practice can help the body reduce inflammation, and alleviate associated symptoms.  It is a restorative practice and can help you recharge and regenerate, regardless of your level of fitness or ability.

ZUMBA:
Zumba is a fun, easy-to-follow, Latin inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class. It combines Latin and international rhythms with an effective dance workout that’s like a party that will get you moving! No dance experience necessary, just a want to have fun and let loose your inner dance. Zumba promo

Tues/Thurs, 3:45 - 4:45 pm
YOGA: End your day with a relaxing Yoga class. This class will take all the stresses away so you will be recharged when you get home. These classes are held at 1820 Roosevelt in Building 2.
