Police Commission

The Police Commission is a twelve member citizen body that acts in an advisory capacity to city council, the chief of police and the city manager on police policy and resource issues.


Meetings

The Police Commission meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. with the exception of August when they are on vacation.  All meetings are noticed in the calendar on this page. Subscribe to the calendar to receive notices of meetings, and links to meeting material.

Meeting packets and recordings


Per ordinance, the police commission does not undertake the review of allegations and inquiries related to the actions of individual police officers.
