Week Three | Resiliency. Sustainability. Innovation. | May 18–24, 2020:

  • Week three of Building Safety Month focuses on resiliency, sustainability, and innovation. Local partner, BRING Recycling, is working to divert recyclable building materials from our landfills. For a donation less than the cost of demolition and disposal, BRING’s Construction Materials Recovery and Reuse Program was recently able to carefully deconstruct an unpermitted pole barn and recover most of the materials for reuse. 6.27 tons of material was recovered from the site.
