Zoe Troupe UmbrellasThe Umbrella Project

January - March 2020

Presented by ArtCity Eugene

The Umbrella Project embraces the rainy season of Eugene by activating Downtown Eugene through an ongoing and playful appearance of umbrellas created by local artists. Artists will design, illuminate, paint, decorate, and/or otherwise creatively alter their umbrellas for public presentations that will activate Downtown Eugene. Participating artist groups will present the umbrellas as roaming ambient encounters utilizing diverse artistic practices that may include dance, theatre, digital or visual art, storytelling, spoken-word, mime, music, juggling and more.
