Hay Rose - Office Coordinator

Hay (they/them) joined Amazon Community Center as the Recreation Office Coordinator in January of 2022. Hay’s two most important jobs at ACC are to keep the treat jar stocked for our favorite four-legged community members, as well as maintain a 1:1 ratio of peanuts to Amazon preschoolers at the front desk, in case they'd like make a donation to our resident squirrels on their way to class. Most days, you can find Hay at the front desk working on a minimum of four spreadsheets at a time or color coding something. Outside of work, they enjoy sitting quietly on the couch and doing crafts, getting daily pop culture updates from their wife, accumulating orange items, and floor time with their pets.  Email Hay

Luna Adkisson

Luna Adkisson - Program Assistant

Luna joined Amazon Community Center as a Recreation Program Assistant in May of 2023. Born and raised in Eugene, Luna started with the City in 2014 as a dance instructor, summer camp staff and childcare provider. With a passion for art, play, silliness and building community, being able to work within Rec has been a dream. While at work, you can find Luna drinking copious amounts of caffeine, hand feeding the park squirrels and making bad jokes. When not at work, you can find Luna taking a million pictures of her two cats, playing video games, being out in nature and spending time with loved ones.

Yareli Juan-Teodocio

Yareli Juan-Teodocio - Program Assistant

Yareli (sher/her) moved to Eugene to study Early Childhood Education at LCC. Yareli graduated and got the position as preschool assistant on August 2020 and has been in the classroom since then. Not only as an assistant but as a lead as well. She started her new position as RPA and preschool coordinator on June 2023. At Amazon you can find her running back and forth between preschool classrooms in the morning and replying back to emails in the afternoon. Yareli  has a passion to make preschool and the center a warm and welcome place. Outside of work, you can find her working on a craft at home or going on an adventure with her husband and dog.

Nicole Cooksley 2022

Nicole Cooksley - Inclusion Services Coordinator

Nicole (she/her) comes to the City of Eugene from Southeast Louisiana where she has a background in special education and hospitality. Something she enjoys about working in Recreation is being able to work with and experience the variety of programs that are offered through the community centers. In her time away from work, Nicole can be found baking up a sweet batch of desserts, cooking savory new recipes, taking a day trip to the coast and spending time with her friends, family and her two cats.
