Downtown Eugene, Sunday September 22nd

Eugene’s biggest party in the streets! In 2019 we held one special Sunday Streets event Downtown Sunday, September 22nd. The day kicked off with the EUG Parade from 11 am- 12 pm and the route included a longer loop around 8th Avenue, Monroe Street, Broadway, and Oak Street.

The EUG Parade

11 am- 12 pm

Starts and ends at Park Blocks (8th & Oak) 

Marches 8th-> Monroe-> Broadway-> Lincoln-> 8th

Sunday Streets 

12 pm- 4 pm

A car-free open streets loop

8th -> Monroe-> Broadway-> Oak

Activity Centers

Park Blocks, Monroe Park, and Kesey Square host games, fitness classes, yoga, bike demos, performances, live music, food carts, and more!

Street Closures

The event route was closed to car traffic from 7 am- 4:30 pm. Cars can travel through the route at Jefferson and Washington street. More details here.

Getting To & Around Sunday Streets

Use the promo code (announced each summer) for a $5 ride credit and lock to any bike rack along the route for free!

Take the LTD Bus For FREE

Leave the car at home and make it a car-free day. If you don’t bike to Sunday Streets consider catching a ride on the bus! 


Download a free Sunday Streets day pass (released prior to event) and present it to the driver as board. The LTD Downtown station is just one block off the Downtown route!
